Hannah completed her undergraduate training at the University of Newcastle before doing her foundation training in the Oxford deanery. She then completed GP training in Gloucestershire and worked as a GP for 6 years whilst also holding a clinical assistant post in dermatology. She now works as a locum consultant in Bristol Royal Infirmary having completed the CESR route to consultant in 2023. Her interests are in inflammatory dermatology particularly chronic wounds and hidradenitis suppurativa. She holds the role of dermatology lead for the medical undergraduate programme at the University of Bristol and is their champion for the inclusion of skin of colour. She is the website and educational lead for Skin of Colour Training UK and is on the British Society of Medical Dermatology and British College of Dermatology committees. She has an interest in research and is currently carrying out projects in skin of colour, psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa.
